MetaChem’s
capillary stainless steel tubing helps maximize the performance
of your HPLC system. This 316 stainless steel tubing is extensively
passivated, ultrasonically cleaned and solvent washed to ensure
cleanliness and inertness. The tubing ends are machine cut to
ensure a 90°, flat face for snug, zero-dead volume connections.
1/16” OD tubing is available in .005, .010 and .020 ids of various
lengths precut lengths as standard stock items. MetaChem tubing
is color coded to assist in identification of internal diameter.
Twenty-Five foot lengths are also available for by special request.
Also available by request are tubing IDs of 0.007, 0.030, 0.040,
and 0.046.”

Our precision
tubing cutter is the best choice for producing near-perfect
end finishes on stainless steel capillary tubing. This
instrument is easy to use and should be considered indispensable
for every high volume HPLC laboratory.
The Terry Tool cutter for stainless
steel has specially hardened cutting wheels which make clean,
right-angle cuts with minimal burring. While not as clean a
finish as that on our pre-cut tubing or tubing cut with our
precision cutter, the finish provided by the Terry Tool is adequate
for many HPLC applications. Replacement cutting wheels are available.
One of the advantages of
using PEEK tubing is the ease with which PEEK can be cut and
flexed. Our PEEK tubing cutter provides right-angle cuts for
PEEK and other polymeric tubing in 1/16” and 1/8” ODs.
