The MetaChem HPLC SYSTEM TEST KIT
is designed to assist in troubleshooting hardware-related problems
with High Performance Liquid Chromatographs.
The kit is used to assist in diagnosing problems which are not
immediately traceable to either the column or the HPLC instrumentation.
The kit provides a column chemistry and test mixture standard,
eliminating these “variables” as a source of a problem and allowing
deviations from the expected results to be traced back to specific
hardware components. Acceptable kit results are an indication
that the HPLC instrumentation is operating correctly, and that
the problem with the “real” separation is likely to be method
related (e.g. associated with the choice of column, mobile phase,
etc.).
Each kit contains the following: one 50 x 4.6mm MetaChem 5µ
C18/ODS rapid analysis HPLC column, 5 vials of isocratic test
mix, 5 vials of gradient test mix,
and a detailed instruction manual with example chromatograms
showing expected results. |
